- From the roar of the crowd to the intensity of the final moments, I have spent years capturing the raw emotion, speed, and artistry of sports. My journey as a visual storyteller began over a decade ago at Utica College, where I first stepped behind the lens, studying under former NBC Producer David Chanatry. Through his mentorship, I developed a deep understanding of videography, sports coverage, and editing techniques in Final Cut Pro. But it wasn’t until I picked up a camera and discovered the power of still imagery that I truly found my calling.
- What started as an exploration of event photography quickly evolved into a relentless pursuit of sports storytelling. I refined my craft as a second shooter for weddings, assisted in dance photography studios, and even managed the business of a world-renowned fashion photographer. Each experience sharpened my eye, strengthened my adaptability, and deepened my understanding of visual composition. But it was the moment I stepped onto the sidelines of my first sports event, camera in hand, that I knew where I belonged.
- Since then, I’ve had the privilege of capturing electrifying action shots, intimate athlete portraits, and cinematic footage across collegiate, semi-professional, and professional sports. Whether working court side at Madison Square Garden, documenting professional boxing and UFC events/fighters, or covering high-stakes NCAA matchups, my focus has remained the same—telling compelling stories through the lens. From fast-paced in-game moments to behind-the-scenes interactions, my goal is to freeze time and showcase the emotion, energy, and grit that define sports.
- Beyond the field, I thrive in post-production, meticulously curating and editing imagery to craft seamless narratives. Whether delivering high-impact visuals on a tight halftime deadline or creating polished multimedia content for publications like Fight Hub TV, A Lot of Sports Talk, or On New Jersey I understand the importance of efficiency without sacrificing creativity.
